I followed a road . . . and it led me to Bishopriggs - which is about 4 / 5 miles from where I work . . .as you can see the sun is out again - what a difference it makes . . .
A small water course - caught my eye . . this is in Bishopbriggs
The Clyde & Forth canal - that canal that runs from Bowling all the way to the Forth - I was standing on a float on the side of the canal - so I am actually in / on it . .. woke a duck up though who flew into water - prob cursing me
A group of trees called to me - as they often do . . . Bishopbriggs
This was on the road to Bishopbriggs - I'd be lying if I claimed I knew what area we are looking at - I just loved the view
Same story - same view - slightly more East than last photo . . . lol

Grey Wet day
It has been a grey - wet day . . .
This was taken on the way to work . . . takes me about 25 minutes to get to the street I work in - Balmore road - then often 20 minutes to actually get to my work . . . this is part of the last 20 minutes - bumper to bumper
All this rain obviously leads to lush and green vegetation as can be seen . . .
This was the evening about 19h00 - things have not improved much

Yacht Plane & Crane
Clydebank - looking over the river Clyde - I was just parking the car when I saw the yacht sailing past - I had to leg it to capture it (so to speak)
Then an airplane decided to life off - from Glasgow International - who am I to look a gift-horse (air plane) in the mouth . . . a bit distant
A throw back to the river Clyde in its hey day - one of the biggest ship building yards / centres in the world - the have kept this crane and you can climb up and see the view - no I ain't be up it yet . . .
Now if you remember a few days back - I captured Clydebank college being demolished - well here is the new Clydebank College . . . on the banks of the river Clyde . . .

2205 Glasgow Speirs Wharf
Glasgow - Speirs Wharf - canal that runs from Clyde to Forth (Glasgow to Endinburgh)
canal runs next to M8 main highway
Ducks made straight for me - must be used to being fed
Canal House - Hmm! I am sure it must have a story or two to tell
This looks like a lovely group of flats - the other side of them - road side does not look as impressive
The one end of the lock system
you would emerge fom this tunnel - showing the difference in levels of the two canals

1705 Planes & Helicopters
Was out shopping and happened to notice the sea plane coming into land - this is a relatively new addition to Glasgow - had been really impressed by them in Vancouver. So set of to find it - not knowing exactly where they set off from - I found it.
That is from left to right - behind plane - Glasgow Science Centre - BBC Scotland - Glasgow Imax theatre - just as I got back into the car was lucky enough to just be here when sea plane took off
The boat races out on to the Clyde river - just to clear any traffic out of the way
Then low and behold across the river - helicopter comes into land
Landing - note the water being whipped up
